Teacher education research, policy and practice: finding future research directions

Abstract:: This Special Issue includes papers that highlight aspects of teacher education research, policy and practice in Australia, England, Northern Ireland, the USA, and Wales. In this editorial, we examine the current teacher education policy context, teacher education research and its foci, and methodological developments in the area, and draw on the papers in this issue to suggest future directions for teacher education research.
