Multivariate control loop performance assessment for cross-directional control
- Abstract:
- Control loop performance assessment analyses routine operating data to identify poorly performing control systems. Such systems can then be optimised in order to improve the productivity of the plant. This paper uses vector autoregression (VAR) models and the principle of the minimum variance lower bound to assess the performance of a cross-directional (CD) control system on a plastic film process.
