- Abstract:
- The objective of this review is to locate and synthesize the best available evidence investigating the impact of selected comorbidities on upper limb arthroplasty outcomes. The review question is: Are patients with diabetes mellitus or obesity at an increased risk of complications and/or poorer postoperative outcomes following total shoulder, reverse total shoulder and total elbow arthroplasty??
