Thymosin beta4 induces adult epicardial progenitor mobilization and neovascularization.

Abstract:

Cardiac failure has a principal underlying aetiology of ischaemic damage arising from vascular insufficiency. Molecules that regulate collateral growth in the ischaemic heart also regulate coronary vasculature formation during embryogenesis.
