An evaluation of risk management training in the West Midlands

We describe the evaluation of eight modules of clinical risk management training in the West Midlands, funded by the modernisation fund. 174 participants attended. 126 (72%) replied to a questionnaire sent three months after completion, looking at course perceptions and impact on practice. Courses were viewed positively and did have some impact on practice. We make recommendations for the organisation of training, course content, and enhancing impact on practice.
