- ORA is certified as a Trustworthy Data Repository by the CoreTrustSeal Standards and Certification Board. This dataset is the information provided by ORA in meeting the certification requirements, alongside reviewer comments. The certification is valid for three years until February 2029. The CoreTrustSeal, launched in 2017, defines requirements and offers core level certification for Trustworthy Data Repositories holding data for long-term preservation. Certification demonstrates to users and their funders that an independent authority has evaluated the repository and endorsed its trustworthiness.
