Accurate poverty targeting in China

Abstract:
This briefing was prepared in response to demand from a number of partners in the multidimensional poverty peer network (MPPN) for insights from China's poverty reduction activities that might be applicable to other countries also seeking to address multidimensional poverty using household-level targeting and cash-plus social protection packages that match the deprivations each household experiences. We are deeply grateful to all concerned for their time, commitment, and sharing of experience.
