Optical coherence tomography in the management of acute retinopathy of prematurity.

PURPOSE: To demonstrate the microscopic changes, in vivo, accompanying stage 4 retinopathy of prematurity. DESIGN: Interventional case study. METHODS: Optical coherence tomography (OCT) of the macula was performed in a baby with presumed stage 4a retinopathy of prematurity (retinopathy of prematurity).
