Simulation of linear sweep voltammetry using an adaptive finite element algorithm

Abstract:
In this paper, we extend the work in a previous paper [Harriman et al., Electrochem. Commun. 5 (2003) 519] to the problem of linear sweep voltammetry at a microdisc electrode. We use an adaptive finite element algorithm to simulate voltammograms under reversible, quasi-reversible and irreversible conditions. Excellent agreement with previous results can be seen. © 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
