Butterfly count surveys in field margins at Ditchley Park, Oxfordshire, UK, June - July 2016
- Documentation:
- Butterfly surveys were conducted over 40 field margins in the Ditchley Estate, Oxfordshire, UK, during the summer of 2016. Each field margin was surveyed up to five times, over the same 100 m walking transect. The field survey methods followed the Pollard Walk methodology (Pollard & Yates, 1993), adopted by the UK Butterfly Monitoring Scheme. This dataset provides the number of butterflies of all species observed during field margin surveys on each visit.
