Nature-based programmes for mental health and wellbeing in secondary schools Deliberative Policy Action (DPA) Workshop February 18th 2025

Abstract:
The Deliberative Policy Action (DPA) workshop held in February 2025 in London was part of the Agile Sprint project: Is “nature” a policy solution to mental health in schools? funded by the Agile Initiative at the Oxford Martin School. The workshop brought together 30 students, educators, and staff from the Department for Education and Natural England to critically explore the value and challenges of implementing and evaluating nature-based programmes (NbPs) aimed at addressing mental health and wellbeing (MHWB) in secondary schools.
