Abstract:

The reaction between N,N-dimethyl-p-toluidine (DMT) and the radical cation generated through its one-electron oxidation has been studied electrochemically in the room temperature ionic liquid N-methyl-N-butylpyrrolidinium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide, [Py14][NTf2].
