Comparison of atom probe tomography and transmission electron microscopy analysis of oxide dispersion strengthened steels

Abstract:

Oxide dispersion strengthened steels owe part of their high temperature stability to the nano-scale oxides they contain. These yttrium-titanium oxides are notoriously difficult to characterise since they are embedded in a magnetic-ferritic matrix and often <10 nm across.
