Predicting post one-year durability of glucose-lowering monotherapies in patients with new-onset type 2 diabetes
- Abstract:
- Current NICE guidelines for type 2 diabetes (T2D) recommend identifying the most appropriate glucose-lowering therapy for a given individual. This decision depends not only on the initial glycaemic response, but also the durability of its glucose lowering effect over time. We investigated the latter by examining possible predictors of post one-year durability for glucose-lowering monotherapies in people with new-onset T2D.
