Tetrahydrobiopterin and alkylglycerol monooxygenase substantially alter the murine macrophage lipidome.
Tetrahydrobiopterin is a cofactor synthesized from GTP with well-known roles in enzymatic nitric oxide synthesis and aromatic amino acid hydroxylation. It is used to treat mild forms of phenylketonuria.
