The military-patriotic infrastructure in Eastern Ukraine: Russian proxy republics (2014–2022)
- Abstract:
- This report presents an overview of the military-patriotic agents and infrastructure deployed by Russia through its proxies in the occupied parts of Eastern Ukraine for the period 2014–2022. It covers local legislation and policy documents of the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, as well as key organisations involved in the upbringing and re-education of the new citizens of the ‘republics’. The report is rich with titles, names, and other details, facilitating an in-depth study of Russia's strategic approach towards influencing the young generation within the occupied Ukrainian territories.
