This fifteenth volume of the 'PSI' series comes over fifty years after the fourteenth. It was projected for publication by the then principal editor of the series, Vittorio Bartoletti, who now appears as a posthumous editor on the title page and as the dedicatee of the volume ('Premessa ', p. v).Its publication, however, was stalled after Bartoletti's death in 1967, for reasons that are not explained.
