The analysis of the steel chimney based on changeable temperature field
- Abstract:
- The object under study was 141 meters high steel chimney. The main function of this construction was taking exhaust fumes from two gas chambers back. The aim of the study was the analysis of the construction in real load conditions, which account for the gravity and the temperature field. The analysis was focused on the local stability loss during the process characterized by the changeable temperature load on the inlets of the ducts of the chimney. The results present the limit surface of buckling process in the space of the design parameters.
