Mind the gap: An analysis of the FSM gap in Buckinghamshire County Council, is a report by Professor Steven Strand from the University of Oxford, which was commissioned by the Council in 2013 to provide a detailed review of the attainment data and context in Buckinghamshire to inform the ongoing review of the attainment gap between socially and economically deprived pupils (FSM pupils) and their peers in Buckinghamshire. Buckinghamshire has one of the highest attainment gaps between socially and economically deprived pupils (FSM pupils) and their peers in the country. The review of the gap reflects a priority of the Council and a key Government priority nationally.
