Cutting complexity down to size.

Abstract:: The proteasome is the most complex eukaryotic macromolecular assembly yet seen in fine detail. The structure reveals completely unexpected mechanisms by which the proteasome neatly chops up unwanted proteins for disposal or display to the immune system.
