An immunocytochemical assay to detect human CFTR expression following gene transfer.

Abstract:

BACKGROUND: To assess gene therapy treatment for cystic fibrosis (CF) in clinical trials it is essential to develop robust assays that can accurately detect transgene expression in human airway epithelial cells.
