青藏高原东缘的文化交流以及人与环境的互动

文化接触与人地互动是理解全球化、人口迁移及人类应对气候变化与极端环境 的重要议题。近年来的研究表明，现代与古代社会在跨文化接触的机制与前提上可能 具有一定共性，因此，史前及早期历史时期的社会可为认识文化交流的一般规律提供 重要参照。与此同时，古代人群对气候变化和多样环境的适应，也有助于思考当代气 候危机背景下的人类应对策略。青藏高原东缘地处边缘性与过渡性环境，是研究人群 迁徙、文化交流及环境适应的理想区域。本文通过梳理该地区丰富多样的考古材料， 探讨古代人群如何在复杂环境中生活与流动、如何跨越聚落和河谷维系远距离社会联 系，以及他们与地方环境之间的互动。通过这些考古证据，本文进一步讨论古代人类 经验对于理解当代及未来人类社会适应与发展的启示。

[Culture contact and human-environment interaction are topics of general interest due to modern-day phenomena such as globalization, migration, and human responses to climate change and needing to face extreme environments and climatic events. Although the process of globalization has sped up considerably over the last decades, recent research has suggested that the modern and the ancient world may not be fundamentally different as far as mechanisms and preconditions of inter-cultural contact are concerned. Prehistoric and early historic communities can therefore serve as useful case studies to reflect on general mechanisms of inter-cultural exchange that are of great interest to modern day societies as well. Furthermore, how humans in the past reacted to climate change or adapted to various types of environments can provide insights into how humanity might face the current climate crisis and move into the future. Being a marginal environment, the Eastern Rim of the Tibetan Plateau is a particularly suitable case study, providing insights into how people lived in this challenging region, how they moved through it, establishing and keeping up connections across considerable distances and developing social connections far beyond the scope of single settlements or valleys. This paper will introduce the highly diverse archaeological material from the Eastern Rim of the Tibetan Plateau, suggesting what it shows us about past humans, their movements and interactions with one another and their local environment, and what we may learn from this about possibilities for the present and future of humanity.]
