Reading and language intervention for children at risk of dyslexia: a randomised controlled trial.

BACKGROUND: Intervention studies for children at risk of dyslexia have typically been delivered preschool, and show short-term effects on letter knowledge and phoneme awareness, with little transfer to literacy.
