- Teaching about the British Empire, migration, and belonging: A research-led strategy for secondary education in England reports findings from the Portrait EMB project, a national study of teaching practice across English secondary schools. Drawing on surveys, case studies, and interviews, it identifies key challenges and proposes principles and recommendations to strengthen curriculum and teacher support.
