'Tennis Rackets for Octopodes' - the crystal and molecular structure of a novel triphosphorus-containing trication
- Abstract:
- The crystal and molecular structure of a novel triphosphorous-containing trication with a norbornane-like structure has been determined at 120 K. The novel trication [1,4,7-tris(diphenylphosphonium)norbornane] has been isolated as its tris(tetrachloroaluminate) salt 1, and its crystal and molecular structure established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction at 120 K. © 2004 Elsevier B.V.
