The immunology of companion animals: reagents and therapeutic strategies with potential veterinary and human clinical applications

Abstract:
There is now a wide range of immunological reagents that can be used in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in the companion animals (dogs, cats and horses). Many of these diseases are the veterinary equivalents of human conditions, and may therefore provide good models to study basic pathogenic mechanisms. © 1994.
