Purpose: Despite its widespread use, the PET radiotracer 2-deoxy-2-[18F]fluoro-D-glucose ([18F]FDG) has been shown in clinical settings to be ineffective for improving early diagnosis of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).
