We introduce a mapping from configuration interaction singles wavefunctions, expressed as linear combinations of particle-hole excitations between Hartree-Fock molecular orbitals, to real-space exciton wavefunctions, expressed as linear combinations of particle-hole excitations between localized Wannier functions.
