Is color vision deficiency an advantage under scotopic conditions?

Abstract:

PURPOSE: To examine experimentally whether color vision deficiency confers a selective advantage under scotopic conditions. METHODS: Red-green color-deficient subjects, monochromats, and age-matched color-normal control subjects were examined.
