Cells suppressing red blood cell (RBC) autoantibody responses were found to exert their effect in Lyt-2+ depleted recipients. Mice injected with monoclonal antibodies to Lyt-2 became deficient in Lyt-2+ cells as judged by indirect immunofluorescence.
