Abstract:

Vascular disrupting agents (VDAs) are able to affect selectively tumour endothelial cell morphology resulting in vessel occlusion and widespread tumour cell necrosis. However, single-agent antitumour activity of VDAs is typically limited, as tumour regrowth occurs rapidly following drug treatment.
