Abstract:

A cross-layer optimization design is developed for the uplink of multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems, in which the user-based selection scheduling is executed at the medium access control (MAC) layer, while the antenna selection is performed at the physical (PHY) layer.
