Experimental Measurements of Trace Element Partitioning Between Lawsonite, Zoisite and Fluid and their Implication for the Composition of Arc Magmas

Abstract:

We present experimental data on the partitioning of Li, Be, B, K, Mg, Sr, Ga, Rb, Cs, Ba, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu, Th, U, Hf, Zr, Nb and Ta between lawsonite and fluid, and zoisite and fluid at 3·0-3·5 GPa and 650-850°C.
