Magnetic microspheres were prepared using a single step coaxial electrohydrodynamic atomization technique at ambient temperature and pressure, with poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) as the coating and iron oxide (Fe3O4) nanoparticles dispersed in polyethylene glycol as the encapsulated material.
