MOVEMENT OF UNBONDED POST-TENSIONING TENDONS DURING DEMOLITION
- Abstract:
-
An investigation has been carried out into the movement of unbonded tendons when cut during the demolition of post-tensioned concrete structures. Results are presented from an extensive laboratory testing programme, in which unbonded tendons of varying length, diameter, curvature and end condition were released from axial tensile loads. The development of a non-linear finite element model of a released tendon is described, together with its extension to tendon lengths other than those tested ...
