Measuring colloidal interactions with confocal microscopy.

Abstract:

We use confocal laser scanning microscopy to measure interactions in colloidal suspensions. By inverting the radial distribution function, determined by tracking the particle coordinates, we obtain the effective interaction between the colloidal particles.
