Systematic iron isotope variations in mantle rocks and minerals: The effects of partial melting and oxygen fugacity

Abstract:

Iron isotopic compositions potentially provide a powerful new tracer of planetary formation and differentiation processes and of secular and spatial changes in mantle oxidation state.
