T2K Status and Future Prospects

Abstract:
The goal of the Tokai-to-Kamioka (T2K) experiment is to search for the neutrino oscillation parameter θ and determine precisely the value of θ and Δmθ. In this proceeding we describe the T2K baseline and detector systems. We report the performance and stability of the different component during the first run covering the period from January to June 2010. Next year expectation for θ sensitivity is also presented. © 2011 Elsevier B.V.
