INTENSITY PERTURBATIONS IN THE EPSILON(+)=2, 1 AND 0 BANDS OF THE ZERO-KINETIC-ENERGY (ZEKE) PHOTOELECTRON-SPECTRUM OF N-2(1)

Abstract:

The observation of the ν+ = 2 band in the first electronic system of the one-photon zero-kinetic-energy (ZEKE) photoelectron spectrum of N2 is reported for the first time. The band was recorded using a coherent extreme ultraviolet source, tunable around 130 000 cm-1; the use of a new two-photon resonance at 98 855.87 cm-1 for sum-frequency mixing in krypton is discussed.
