The study of partitioning in mixed surfactant systems, by neutron scattering techniques

Abstract:
The use of neutron scattering techniques (neutron reflectivity and small angle neutron scattering) to determine the composition of mixed surfactants at interfaces and in micelles is described. Recent experimental results, from a range of different surfactant mixtures, exhibiting both ideal and non-ideal mixing, are reviewed.
