The cathodic reduction of hydrogen peroxide displays altered electrochemical behavior between silver macro- and nanoscale electrodes. In acidic media, two parallel reduction mechanisms have been reported: "normal" and "autocatalytic". The reduction potentials are reported in the literature versus mercury/mercurous sulfate reference electrode.
