Microbial translocation does not drive immune activation in Ugandan children with HIV

Abstract:
Objective Immune activation is associated with morbidity/mortality in HIV-infection despite antiretroviral therapy (ART). We investigated whether microbial translocation drives immune activation in HIV-infected Ugandan children.
