Abstract:

In rat mesenteric arteries, the ability of ACh to evoke hyperpolarization of smooth muscle cells and consummate dilatation relies on an increase in endothelial cell cytosolic free [Ca2+] and activation of Ca2+-activated K+ channels (KCa).
