Indoor propagation measurements at 5 GHz

Abstract:
This paper reports results from a comprehensive wideband indoor propagation program carried out in the 5.7 GHz ISM band. Measurements were made using a network analyzer technique with a resolution on the order of 2 ns. Room-to-room and intra-room scenarios were examined and angle of multipath arrival measurements were taken in some instances. It is shown that, in many cases, reflections from adjacent buildings played a significant part in the propagation mechanisms.
