Healthcare Interventions for Perinatal Depression in Socially Disadvantaged Women: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Abstract:

The aim of this systematic review was to identify, characterize, and analyze the effectiveness of healthcare interventions for perinatal depression in socially disadvantaged women. Prominent biomedical databases were searched in April 2013. Sixteen articles assessing 15 interventions to decrease depressive symptoms in socially disadvantaged women were selected.
