HySand: a new constitutive model for sand under cyclic loading

Abstract:

The design of offshore wind turbine foundations is increasingly driven by considerations of cyclic loading. Finite element modelling of offshore wind turbine foundations subjected to cyclic loading necessitates adequate soil constitutive models.
