PHOTOFRAGMENT VECTOR CORRELATIONS IN THE VIBRATIONALLY MEDIATED PHOTODISSOCIATION OF H2O2

Abstract:

Photofragment vector correlations for photofragments generated through vibrationally mediated photodissociation have been measured for the first time. The results obtained for H2O2, dissociated via the third OH overtone state, 4νOH, implicate torsional motion in the intermediate state as a contributor to the final OH photofragment rotation.
