Numerical simulation of geodynamic processes with the portable extensible toolkit for scientific computation

Abstract:

Geodynamics simulations are characterized by rheological nonlinearity, localization, three-dimensional effects, and separate but interacting length scales. These features represent a challenge for computational science.
