Multidisciplinary concurrent optimization of gas turbine blades

Abstract:

This thesis presents the study and development of optimization methods that can perform concurrent aerodynamic-aeroelastic blade optimization in a multi-bladerow environment, and for realistic turbomachinery blade geometries.
