Abstract:

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between executive functions (working memory and inhibition) and academic achievement, specifically math achievement, and examine whether the relationship was significantly moderated by gender. The associations between a measure of math achievement and executive functioning tasks were examined. Gender was explored as a possible moderator in this relationship.
